Lemonade Stand
I think it is a rite of passage to have a lemonade stand as a child...don't you? So we will check this off our summer fun list because it finally happened!! Yay! Our friends invited us to be part of one...since this was our first time and they are experts. Thank you Friends.....we appreciated your help!!
My friend and I tried our best to let the kids be in charge....but we had to help a little in the beginning......of course. You can see us both in action. However...for the next two hours we sat on lawn chairs avoiding the sun...we must have moved back on the sidewalk ten times....it doesn't sound funny in writing....but it was.
PS...not a a lot of customers....but the people that did stop by were very friendly and our kids did a great job serving.

Some fun memories! Looking forward to the next one...maybe we should play some of that lovely sno-cone golf cart music to attract customers? :-S

ReplyDeleteGood mommies let their children have a lemonade stand. Looks like fun! Very off topic, but I love your white kitchen tile and the border (?) or end caps? We are getting closer to redecorating our kitchen and I'm thinking of tiling the countertops. I don't think I've ever seen that border...I love it! Now you have me thinking...
