My girl is home with a cold today......I wish I could take it away from her.  I am always so sad when my kids don't feel well.  Her brother got out my childhood quilt that we always lay on our couch when someone isn't feeling well.....and made a comfy place for her to rest today.  A little teary when I dropped him at school in the carpool lane and he had to get out alone (without sister).  I know he is VERY capable...he is just so tenderhearted.  Love that boy!!!


Here is a photo of her......with a tray of sourdough toast, "spa" water, vitamins and cold calm.  My mom always made a tray for me when I was sick...and now I do this for my two kiddos.  Hope you feel better soon, Katie.....mommy loves you so much!
