25 Random Things About Me....
I was tagged on Facebook several times in regards to 25 random things about me. Anyway....I have decided to list them on my Blog. Here they are:
2. I loved my childhood home and all the memories that were created there.
3. Sometimes I wish I had traveled more before kids.
4. When I was in 9th grade I rode a donkey down the Grand Canyon with the MOST stubborn
one of the bunch and was rewarded with a certificate. ( I still have it)
5. My grandparents will always be the best role models for me.
6. I met my biological father when I was 19 when he was dying of cancer. (I look like him)
7. I DO NOT like crowded areas they make me very stressed.
8. A perfect night is being home with my family in pjs and sharing a dessert.
9. I need coffee with cream in the morning and a iced tea in the afternoon.
10. I met my husband when I was 18 in Hawaii on Waikiki beach.
11. My first teaching assignment was an ESL Kindergarten class and I shared a room with a teacher who had been teaching for 25 years without sharing her room. Did I mention there were 15 different languages in my class??
12. I played the part of Helen Keller in the play the Miracle Worker and it is one of my favorite memories.
13. I LOVE to bake cookies.
14. I like to wander in Art Museums especially the M.O.M.A. in NYC.
15. There are several books I will always have on my bookshelf: Gift form the Sea, The Bible, Betsy-Tacy Series, The Maggie B, and Living, Loving, and Learning.
16. I wish I could have met one of my heroes....Leo Buscaglia.
17. I like taking pictures but am terrible with organizing them.
18. I wish I could play the piano.
19. I loved taking ballet and regret quitting when I was 16.
20. I also regret not inviting 3 people to my wedding and it will always bother me.
21. I don't like disappointing people and feel so guilty when I do.
22. I have always wanted to be a mommy and a teacher.
23. I could eat pizza everyday.
24. Peanut butter was my favorite until I saw what it does to my daughter.
25. I believe that it is important to surround yourself with positive people.

ReplyDeleteI love your list and am impressed you did it. I have been a little lazy with this because I too have been tagged to do this. I don't think I learned anything new about you, but this list reminded me why I love you so much!
